COMMENT ON THIS STORY
Nick, You are absolutely right. We never had a choice. I don't know what you consider he best man for president, mine wasn't either one of the two we have running. I guess we will have to do same as always; vote for the lesser of two evils. Anyone is better than Bush. Perhaps we need a national Primary.
Report ViolationI find it remarkable that with the latest poll results across the board, our Congress has an approval rating in the single digits! That tells me we are essentially LEADERLESS, while these oafs sit in their ivory towers, absolutely CLUELESS as to what we, the people want.
Report ViolationCongress has a lousy approval rating because, even with a mandate, they have done little to reign Bush in. Go to pollingreport.com and look at how people rate the Republican congressmen - cons will find the information depressing :).

John Anderson, you are right about the comments section. I wish they would then add the feature that you get with "Haloscan" at the Bellingham Herald, that lets you track further comments as well by notifying your email that a "new comment has been added". In the meantime, I have a comment on your letter - I'm sorry, but the best man for President isn't running. We really HAVE NO choice for president, in my opinion. Both may as well be Democrats. Some of these can be really fun, almost making a chat room feature that by nature, eventually gets out of hand, but entertaining nonetheless.
