I wonder what it would be like to live in a rural community where the political leadership cared more about the its citizens than big dairy and feedlot contributors. I wonder what Yakima would be like without all the crime and other problems associated with big agriculture's illegal workforce. If things don't change, Yakima will surely resemble Wapato or Mabton in the next ten years. If the Yakama Indian Nation has the guts to stand up to big agriculture, what about us? I wonder.
