The bridegroom-to-be earned his bachelor's degree in international studies: peace, diplomacy and security from UW. He is an admissions counselor at UW.

Heather Rae Rhodes and Jason Richard Litalien have announced their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Rick and Patricia Rhodes of Yakima. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Dennis Litalien of Cedar Point, N.H., and Lorie Johnson of Nicholson, Ga.
